From the manufacturer British Gypsum, Thistle BondingCoat is an excellent undercoat plaster for a wide range of backgrounds with smooth or low suction settings like tiling, concrete, plasterboard, or surfaces treated by Thistle Bond-it. This BondingCoat is a premixed gypsum undercoat plaster known around the UK as one of the most recommended undercoats. This coat plaster proves to be the best base coat when it comes to working with bricks with raked joints, conjunctions, plasterboards, mid-density blocks, cast in situ, precast concrete, painted and tiled surfaces.

Thistle BondingCoat is composed of a  lightweight and fine mix that enables easier and faster workability. British GypsumBondingCoat will spread, coat, dry with ease whilst needing only the addition of clean water to prepare the bonding coat for application. Before starting, make sure that the water you’re adding doesn’t have any dust or pollutants in it. Thistle BondingCoat is composed of retarded hemihydrate which is turned into premixed gypsum plaster with an exfoliated vermiculite sum.

After adding a final coat of any of the Thistle finish plasters, Thistle BondingCoat provides a base coat that is both smooth and inert. It generates a high-quality surface to internal walls and roofs that acts as a stable and long-lasting base for ornamental finishes. British Gypsum Thistle BondingCoat is available for nationwide delivery in bags of 25 kg each.
