Jablite Claymaster is an EPS (expanded polystyrene) compressible-fill material recommended in decreasing the pressure applied to foundations caused by clay heave.  It can prevent potential problems in foundations due to moisture and damp found in soil which can cause large proportions of mineral particles under 0.002mm to shrink or expand - this is what we call clay heave. Jablite Claymaster is fixed to the fronts of deep trench fill and then to the base and facets of concrete beam piled foundations to help prevent any movements caused by the shrinking and expanding of the surrounding soil.

Claymaster does not deteriorate when placed in high moisture areas and is resistant to freeze-thaw impacts making it durable in any climate. Jablite Claymaster will stay in good shape and hold the compressible fill for the lifespan of the building. It is not just lightweight and easy to install but requires no special PPE whilst fitting or cutting. Rot-proof and highly durable, it is the go-to infill material for foundations chosen by builders for decades.

The foundation construction and soil backfill completely guard Jablite Claymaster. The clay heave protection has no effect on the fire performance of the structure it is installed into. Jablite Claymaster emits zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and less than 5 units in global warming potential (GWP). Jablite Claymaster does not create any identified risk to the climateand is a 100% recyclable material.
