SFBA is waterproof and resists the passage of moisture through walls, floors and ceilings. SFBA is a multi-layer air bubble insulation with aluminium bonded to the outer surfaces. The coated aluminium faces offer durability and protection against corrosion to give a waterproof insulation system. It can be used for insulating under floor, in walls, in dry lining such as for cellars and can also be used in greenhouses and other industrial applications.

SFBA reflects heat, just like a mirror reflects light. SFBA is an ideal radiant barrier for supplementing existing insulation to keep your house warmer is winter and cooler in summer. SFBA is a high performance insulation and can utilise low emissivty air gaps to maximise the thermal capabilities.

Fixing & jointing

All laps should be a minimum of 50mm and be sealed using SF jointing tape. Particular care is required when sealing around penetrations. Where the barrier is breached by construction elements, the aperture should be sealed with SuperFOIL tape.
