Why Should you use Sheepwool?

The Sheepwool that insulation4less sells is 100% Sheep wool and has no nasty chemicals or smells. Unlike other wool type insulations or even Sheepwool insulation our 100% Sheepwool is 100% Natural. There are other Sheepwool insulations on the market which only contain 30 - 40 - 50 or 60% sheepwool. As a result there are additional binders and chemicals within the insulation the keep the cost down and make it cheaper. Our 100% Sheepwool insulation is not only cost effective but its the real deal.

Treatment

What makes our Sheep wool different from the rest is its 100% natural. Other manufacturers often ruin the sheepwool insulation by adding nasty chemicals and binders because they want to make it cheaper.

Why does sheep wool insulation need to be treated?

There is a perception in the market that Sheepwool can harbour moths and other insects that like Sheepwool, and yes this is the case if your Sheep wool is not threated to make the insulation unappealing to these moths and insects. Thankfully we do not use poisonous insecticides to treat our Sheepwool. We use a chemical free cleaning agent that is not harmful to humans but the moths and insects hate it.

We have kept our treatment of the Sheepwool insulation as eco-friendly as we possibly can, only natural products are used in the cleaning and treatment process of the sheepwool.

How do we treat our Sheepwool without chemicals and harmful substances?

As it happens like most discoveries we found the solution within nature itself. We found that the silk produced by spiders is something our little moth friends and insects do not like. So because of this discovery we use the process called Plasma Ionic treatment to alter the structure and makeup of the sheep wool so it resembles the spiders silk. This is the first time that such a process has been applied to sheeps wool and it is 100% natural. As a result, we now have the only 100% certifed Natural Sheepwool Insulation in the market today. It even carries the accredited and prestigious Nature Plus Certificate.
